What is The Best Way to Watch Live Sports

I am an absolute sports nut and there are not many sports which I am not a fan of. For this reason, I am pretty much glued to the TV 24/7 watching games, news and highlight reels. Throughout the years I have watched sports in many different types of environments, usually with my buddy Peter Howe Michigan-resident and Detroit Pistons fan like myself. I have therefore arrived at the conclusion that there are some ways that you can watch sports which really get you in the mood, and others which are not as exciting. If you are a sports lover, here is how I think you can experience sports in the best way.

Going to the Game

For me, the absolute best way to watch sports is to go to the game itself so that you can get up close and personal as well as enjoying the crowd’s atmosphere. Getting tickets to a game is not always easy, especially if you are a basketball fan where they have low capacities With this being said, if you are able to grab yourself a ticket for the game, take the chance with both hands.

Hitting a Bar

If you are planning on going to a bar to watch the big game, you will need to choose wisely so that you can get the best experience. Some bars will have the game on but they will mute the sound in favor of music and there will be people talking throughout, highly annoying. If however you are able to find a sports bar that really has a good setup, you can enjoy the game in awesome surroundings. Bars attract people of all teams which means that you can have some to’ing and fro’ing with rival team fans and you can also enjoy the sport with multiple TVs and live commentary. Bars will also have promotions on drinks and food when it is game time.

Home Alone

Perhaps this is just me but if a game is on of great importance, I cannot be surrounded by people and I prefer to watch it in the comfort of my own home, with a cold one or two. It may sound a little miserable that I would spend the night alone in front of the television but trust me, if things are going to get tense, you are the only person that you will want nearby.

Friends House

If you have a buddy who has an awesome set up to watch sport, do all that you can to shoehorn yourself an invitation. My absolute favorite way to watch sports is with my buddies, some beers, a few snacks and a giant screen. If you have a friend who can offer you this then their home should be your new place to watch you favorite sporting events.
