I have just come across the beautiful work of Francoise Nielly. According to her website, “her painting is sexual, her colors free, exuberant, surprising, even explosive, the cut of her knife incisive, her color pallet dazzling” which I think is a perfect summary and I need to add no more except that this is some of the most stunning use of colour and some of the most stunning portraiture I have come across. She has recently completed some new work, some of which you can peep below. Patiently waiting for a London exhibition.
